About The Session

The Philippines packaging industry grew from 64.5 billion units in 2018 to 72.3 billion units in 2023. It is forecast to increase further and reach 89.4 billion units in 2028. Flexible packaging was the leading pack material in 2023, generating a volume share of 48.2% or 34.8 billion units. It was followed by glass with a 19.5% volume share. During 2023–28, rigid plastics will register the fastest CAGR, at 6%, among all pack materials.
