About The Session

Consumers always say how important sustainable packaging is for their choice of FMCG products. And yet despite years of data and research affirming this position, the industry still has not produced packaging solutions that tick all the boxes of sustainability, hygiene, scalability and cost-effectiveness. And sales are continuing to grow. This presentation will take a closer look at consumer attitudes towards packaging in order to identify the real priorities of consumers and hence the outlook for the sector in SE Asia

Key takeaways will include:

- The trade-off from the consumer perspective of cost, sustainability and hygiene

- The competing demands on the producer

- The trends shaping the packaging sector
